OUR NEW BOOK, "JONES', BUCKIE" IS NOW ON SALE
Jones
Buckie is the story of a shipyard in Buckie. A book of some
308pp and 281 illustrations, it charts the history of the company
in Buckie from its beginning as a Saw Mill at the early part of
the 20th Century to become the one of the largest
boat builders in the town. Building in excess of 200
boats including a number of yachts. Read the recollections
of those who worked there and those who bought and worked boats
built there.
Copies
of this publication will be available for purchase at £15 per
book plus postage from the Buckie & District Fishing Heritage
Centre, Cluny Place Buckie Banffshire from 6th May
